History
This Lowland single malt cocktail is stirred, boozy, and sweetened with Pedro Ximénez sherry, which makes it very approachable. A pinch of cracked black pepper awakens the drink. It is a great late-night sipper.
This drink is adapted from a 2016 creation by Matthew Follent at Bar 1806, Melbourne, Australia. It was among the drinks that helped him win The Perfect Blend 2016 competition. His original recipe specified Auchentoshan Three Wood as the Lowland single malt.
