History
Scotch dominates over the other two spirits, helping the trio harmonize with citrus and rich almond sugar.
This cocktail is inspired by Trader Vic, rather than being an actual creation of his. While a "Trader Vic's Sour" is not found in any of his numerous books, he did enjoy sours with orgeat (such as his London Sour), and the proportions align with the spirit of his many sour recipes. SOURS A Sour can be the most disappointing drink in the world if it is not made with fresh lemon juice. And just because it is Sour doesn't mean it should be all lemon juice. Give your customer a break – not heartburn.
