Ingredients

5/6 oz Blanco tequila
5/6 oz Añejo tequila
1/6 oz Navy rum (ideally circa 55% alc./vol.)
1/2 oz Lime juice
1/3 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)

How to make

Serve in a coupe glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of lime wedge.

Method

  1. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 5 Garnish with lime wedge.

History

A Navy rum inspired Margarita built to Daiquiri proportions, it is very good.

This drink is based on Craig Toone's 2003 interpretation, which used an 8:2:1 ratio. It was circulating in Manchester under the name 'Triple Rum Daiquiri'.
