History

A small, bittersweet, aperitif-style cocktail.

In 2017, Daniel Seehuusen created this recipe at Park in Göteborg, Sweden. His original recipe used equal parts Suze, Eau de Vie de Poire de Normandie, and Cointreau. He named the cocktail after these three French ingredients: Suze, first presented at the Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1889, Cointreau from Angers, and Eau de Vie de Poir from Normandy, which form a triangle when plotted on a map.
