2 1/2 oz Cognac (brandy)
3/4 oz Lemon juice
1/2 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)

How to make

Serve in a coupe glass

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.

  1. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

  1. 5 EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

A fantastically balanced Sidecar inspired this drink.

This drink was inspired by one discovered in May 2010 at Babel Bar, Hotel du Rome, Berlin, Germany. Its name combines 'Sidecar' and 'Ugni-blanc,' the grape most commonly used to make cognac.
