Ingredients

2 oz Reposado tequila
1 oz Tomato juice
1 oz Orange juice
1/2 oz Lime juice
1/2 oz Grenadine syrup
7 drop Red hot pepper sauce
1 pinch Salt
1 grind Black pepper

How to make

Serve in a old-fashioned glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of lime wedge.

Method

  1. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 STRAIN into ice-filled glass.

  1. 5 Garnish with lime wedge.

History

A Bloody Maria variation, supercharged with a hint of sweet grenadine.

Considered the national drink of Mexico, it is frequently prepared there using pomegranate juice instead of tomato juice and omitting the grenadine.
