Ingredients

1 slice Watermelon (fresh)
1 1/2 oz Citrus vodka
1/2 oz Lime juice
1/2 oz Cranberry juice
1/2 oz Watermelon liqueur
1 dash Orange bitters

How to make

Serve in a martini glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of watermelon wedge.

Method

  1. 3 MUDDLE 60g / 2.1oz watermelon flesh (removed from skin and chopped) in base of shaker.
  2. 4 Add other ingredients and SHAKE with ice.
  3. 5 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 6 Garnish with watermelon wedge on rim.

Flavour profile

History

Pinker than a standard Cosmo, tasting as the name suggests.

Eric Fossard created this drink in 2003 at Cecconi's, London, England. It is one of many variations on the Cosmopolitan that appeared in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
