History
Carrot juice provides an orange colour and pairs well with gin. Additional flavour and spice is provided by ginger liqueur, lemon juice and cinnamon.
This drink was discovered at The Wayland in Manhattan's East Village. The What's Up, Doc? cocktail gained popularity throughout New York City in 2014, with various iterations employing different base spirits such as vodka, rye whiskey, and grappa. "Eh, What's up Doc?" is the signature phrase of Bugs Bunny, the laid-back cartoon character featured in a series of animated short films produced by Warner Bros.
