History

The Strega liqueur is the star of this after-dinner drink, which its creator claims has a sugar rim that "brings out the tartness in the drink."

Eran Guter, described as a "cocktail enthusiast from Haifa, Israel," created this drink in 2020. He states, "It is a distant relative of Sam Ross' Paper Plane, with a very different, complex and bright flavor profile, which showcases the Strega yet in perfect harmony with the other ingredients. I named the cocktail Witches' Flight after the magnificent painting by Francisco Goya."
