1800 Milenio is an extra añejo tequila made from blue weber agave and double-matured, first in American oak barrels for a few years then finished in French oak cognac barrels for around 4 to 6 months. It was originally released in 2000 to commemorate the millennium, but was a second edition was re-released. It is bottled at 40% ABV.

An elegant, Agave Spirit by NOM 1122. It has an aromatic birth with notes of notes of agave, wood, fruits, nuts, herbs & spices; while a cherry, sweet oak spices, vanilla & roasted agave; that led to a balanced death of medium length with a touch of pepper, cinnamon, almond, cognac & smoke. It’s too sweet, too oaky, too smoky for the tequila purists, but who needs authenticity, class, and restraint when you can have this depth of flavor? Orion swift style tequila
nice aromas from the french oak, but it's almost at the expense of the agave. smooth and enjoyable overall but I'd have to agree with some reviewer that it's not very special.
Very good. Has a nose of burnt agave, citrus, minerals, and caramel.
