Nose: Honey, boiled sweets, light sherry Palate: Sugared breakfast cereal, spicy (ginger, nutmeg, star anise), tawny port, sherry Finish: Medium long finish with coffee, dark chocolate, black cherries, black pepper Overall, this is a nice whisky. It's undemanding and unassuming, quite sherried which on the initial sip has a bit of a kick, but mellows very quickly. It goes down very smoothly, and leaves quite a pleasant, slightly sour, chocolate cherry aftertaste.

Nose: Apples! Strawberry, very slight vanilla, deep spices over the oaky base. Almost no alcohol, fresh grass. Taste: Caramel, sweetness and then sharp green apples, bitter chocolate and mild burn.
Honey graham cracker, apples, pears, light spices, vanilla and sherry notes on the nose, palate and medium length finish. Nice oily mouthfeel. Super easy to drink at 48 ABV. Really nice whiskey.
As always you can’t expect something which is not nice whiskey from Aberlour. However it’s not the nicest Aberlour I had, it could be due to high ABV % and there were quite some burn
Nose: oil, ethanol, spice, lemons and vanilla. Pallet: oil, caramel, chocolate, ethanol Finish: fire, lemons, oil and spice. Very short.
