It has an aromatic birth with notes of tree fruits, dried & candied fruits, flowers, wood, nuts & spices; while a rich & complex life adds notes of dried fig, anise, orange zest, hazelnut, walnut, cedar & oak; that led to a quick & complex death. It’s a good cognac with a different palate compared to the big four. For it being an xo, I do think it’s priced reasonably. However, I won’t be buying the full 750ml after having just the 50ml. Curious to try the VSOP since it’s ranked so highly
