This limited edition bourbon is the 19th release in A. Smith Bowman Distillery's experimental portfolio. It begins with bourbon which was distilled in 2006 and filled into new, charred oak barrels for 8 years and 3 months. Next the bourbon was finished in port-style wine barrels for 4 years and 7 months. Then the bourbon was transferred into Sauternes wine barrels for 2 months before bottling at 100 proof.

nose- Dried fruit, vanilla, cinnamon, slight oak Palate- grape forward. Slight tanic flavor from red wine cask. Slight vanilla and apple. Finish- Long tart apple finish.
A little oak funk on the nose, sweet caramel on the palette.Nice hug great finish
Probably one of the smoothest bourbon pours I’ve had. Excellent stuff.
