Right off the bat you’re hit with a strong black licorice smell. Despite the smell the black licorice taste isn’t as pungent as I was expecting. The taste is there at the beginning and midway through but it’s not overwhelming, it doesn’t linger a bit afterwards though. This goes down surprisingly easy and only a slight burn afterwards. I don’t like black licorice but this isn’t all that bad.

In my opinion this is a must have liquor for every party. This liquor is mainly taken in shot form. It has a licorice type of taste but after the first shot, the rest go down smoothly like water.
Licorice flavor. Smooth enough for shots but all great for mixed drinks.
Tastes like white rum with subdued anise flavors on the back end.
