Liquor Junction single barrel store pick Lot 608 Barrel 4 Aged 29 months in a Beam bourbon barrel Straw color. The nose has vegetal agave sweetness, charred marshmallows, and maybe it's the season but I'm getting something that reminds me of snow cream (essentially vanilla extract and condensed milk). The mouthfeel is surprisingly thick and velvety. On the palate I get agave, wet stone, charred jalapeños, vanilla extract, and black pepper. The finish is medium-long, nicely warming, and peppery. The vanilla extract transitions nicely to butterscotch, and the vegetal sweetness is present in the background.
About this bottle
The tequila uses organic agaves from the Los Altos region near Nayarit. The piñas are autoclaved for 20 hours, fermented with proprietary yeast, and triple-distilled. The añejo is aged 18 months in used bourbon barrels, yielding a dark straw color. This is bottled at 100 proof.

Was surprised at the ethanol on the nose until I realized it was 100 proof. Thete is also a herbal, agave sweetness on the nose that transfers to the palate. The alcohol, from the nose, transforms into pepper on the palate. Organic, 100% blue agave, 100 proof; ate there any other criteria for a good sipping blanco? i think not.
$69 stateline elite. Very light nose, hint leather & butterscotch. Pallet creamy vanilla, oak, Carmel with a little spice and cocoa. Very smooth mint finish with a bit of earthy/mossyness. Amazingly smooth for 100p. I love this! Best anjeo I have had yet.
A very good tequlia. I've had the resposado which is also very good but the anejo is smoother with a better taste. Perfect straight or in a mix. I mix a shot with a splash of lime carbonated water, slice of lime slice of lemon on the rocks. Perfect drink!
Rich roasted agave, oak, tropical fruit sweetness, gentle pepper. Delicious profile, with just a little heat from the ABV. On par with Herradura, very silimar profile but more heat. Not available in Ontario.
Damn good sipper for the price!!!! I also made Mexican Old Fashion's!!! Just add this liquor agave sweetener and chocolate Mexican bitters with a cherry!! Amazing
