An elegant, 22-year-old Allt-a-Bhainne single malt, bottled to celebrate the equally wonderful Whisky Squad. The label depicts many of the Squad’s members as cows, due to the fact that – according to That Boutique-y Whisky Company – ‘Allt-á-Bhainne sounds a bit like House of Pain, & it literally means “River of Milk”. It has an aromatic birth with notes of milky coffee, soft fudge, Pineapple rings, lemon curd, buttered toast, a hint of lavender & roasted green peppers; while a soft & creamy life adds notes of biscuits, green apple slices, cinnamon, black pepper, thick custard & Victoria sponge cake; that led to a delicate death with notes of lemon curd on granary toast & toasted oak. This one is the ghost of xmas past. Yes a remnant of my epic scottish distillery tour, one I mistakenly ordered two samples from. A step down from the other. Not a lot going on, vague ethanolly vanilla sweetness. 2.25

Did someone really bring 22 year scotch to this college party? Yum!
