About this bottle
For those that don't already know, for close to 300 years up until 1970, the Royal Navy would issue rum to its sailors in daily rations. Originally they would receive a pint per day which over time dwindled to about half a gill (70ml or about 2 oz.). This rum is a recreation of a Navy Rum sample they obtained. It was distilled at the now closed Caroni distillery in Trinidad and is aged for 15 years. It is bottled at cask strength of 108 proof. Available in the UK.
