Aqará Agave De Los Andes Reposado

Surprisingly green on the nose, mint, agave and grass, charcoal, toffee, pineapple and orange rind. On the palate it’s smooth and mildly sweet, with flavors of wood, agave, char, pepper and vanilla. The finish is lightly peppery. Quite interesting. While 100% agave and essentially tequila, it’s spicier and less rich than most quality reposados, and by no means in a bad way. It’s just different. Perhaps it’s an agave and sotol love child…

Nose: Notes of vanilla, caramel, coffee and stone fruit. Palate: Robust and intense on the palate, where smoke and toast intertwine, making each sip a pleasure. Hints of banana, coconut and vanilla, mineral flavours on the mid-palate, salty white chocolate. Rounded aftertaste, with vibrant acidity and power. Notes of butterscotch toffee at the end.
