ASW Fiddler Bourbon Amburana Cask Finish Cask Strength Single Barrel Select [Spring 2023 Release / Barrel # 1321 / 54.9% ABV] is an intense, high wheat Bourbon by Master Distiller Justin Manglitz for ASW Distillery in Atlanta, Georgia. It's crafted using a combination of Scottish-style double copper pot distillation & Southern-style grain-in distillation; matured in charred American oak barrels for 4 years before finishing in Amburana barrels from Brazil for 2 months. It has an aromatic birth of grain, dried fruit, wood & decaying horse hoofs / old-moldy school glue; while a complex life adds notes of wheat, oatmeal cookie & vanilla; that led to a warm & balanced death of medium length with notes of Christmas baking spices, coffee, cigar & oak.
