Balcones Texas Rye Single Barrel Finished in Wine Casks

Nose of rye, red wine, oak, apple, caramel, vanilla, melon. Hot on the palate, deep rye spice, oak, black pepper, red wine. Spicy finish. Odd, and not my favorite, but interesting combination/profile.
