About this bottle
The Balmenach Distillery was founded in 1824 and was one of the first distilleries in the Speyside region of Scotland to be legal sanctioned to operate. This single malt expression from the distillery was originally distilled in 1999 and aged in ex-sherry hogshead casks. Currently discontinued, it was bottled in 2011 and released by Gordon & MacPhail under their Connoisseurs Choice range.
