While you can tell it is young but for the age it very smooth. Yes it not very complex but then again nether is ER for that matter and thats 10 years. I would buy again at this price point. But would probably pick ER over this if was both on the shelf and ER was 40 bucks

Easy drinker. Vanilla notes up front. Not very complex. Fades quickly. Not bad for the money but wouldn’t seek out another bottle. Would be solid for one you can mix or drink straight. Probably a solid bourbon to give to someone who doesn’t like the strong stuff.
Actually enjoyed this blend and could make it a daily inexpensive drinker. Straight or as an old fashioned i feel a mix helps it out, but either way is not bad. Not complex as others have said but worth a taste.
First sniff has notes of vanilla and subtle peach notes, first sip has notes of Carmel, spicy vanilla with a lite spice finish at lingers in the center of my tongue, overall good balance of flavor.
First sip was rather enjoyable. Smooth and light, but not much character. Subsequent sips gave a strange and harsh taste at the sides of the tongue. Guess I’ll be using it as a mixer.
Nose of corn, oak, soy sauce, caramel. A little thin on the palate, char, oak, caramel. Short finish. I wouldn’t buy a bottle, but not bad.
