Launched in July 2022, Batch 22 Classic Gold is named a "New American Aquavit" as it leans into citrus, caraway and dill flavors and away from anise, fennel, and cumin like some other classic Scandinavian aquavit brands. The aquavit has a light copper color due to the botanicals used rather than any aging. (SRP $39.99)

Unlike traditional aquavits that focus on big fennel and anise (licorice) flavors, Batch 22 is more about citrus, caraway, and dill, which makes it much more approachable and sippable. The toned down licorice also means it mixes beautifully in cocktails without overpowering.
