Strong oak char with wheat and malted barley. Taste is light vanilla carmel with oak char and wheat and barley forward. Not a lot of spice as there is little or no rye in the mash bill. Kinda of woody and dark with a bit of alcohol bite in middle and smooth finish. Is a nice sipper with a different profile at medium price from some great new friends.

At the time I tried this bourbon they only had bottles less than two years old available (I believe I was told at the distillery they were 18 months? It’s been a while).

It has a light vanilla taste. A bit of caramel, oak in the finish. Overall, its pretty tasty depsite being young. Id like tirynthis batch at 8 years instead of 2.
