Bear Wallow Single Barrel Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Straight up this one is hot with surprisingly smooth start that quickly turns into a spicy rye burn right through the finish. Has a strong carmel syrup start with hot rye spice finish. Ice calms it down a bit but rye finish still comes through strong. Overall this one is a real kick in the pants. I like these guys and spent a fair amount of time in the tasting learning their story. I would buy it again price was fair in the mid 30 range. Try it you might be suprised.

Starts off spicy with flavors of caramel and vanilla majorly coming through. Coats the inside of your mouth, leaving a viscous, sweet, taste of leather.
