Neat in Glencairn at home. Very light in color. Nose has apples, astringent oak, dusty hay. Resting for a few minutes brings out notes of chalky fruity candy. Interesting. Taste is a little hot and astringent, with oak, spice, ethanol, mild apple. Overall, eh. 1/27/2020.
Flat nose with slight apple scent; bitter, peppery palate with some wood oaks; sourness presen; missing sweetness that I expected; dull, mellow and not complex; hints of apple on finish.
