About this bottle
This single cask release from BenRiach was distilled on the 16th of February in 2005. Selected by master blender Rachel Barrie, this peated single malt whisky aged for 12 years, initially in second-fill bourbon barrel and then finished in a port pipe. Bottled in October 2017 at 53.6% ABV, it is non-chillfiltered and has no color added. Available beginning February 2018, this is an exclusive US release.

This was a great balance of sweet port and smokey peat. My only complaint is that it was too easy to drink and now I'm all out. Which is terrible.

The one I had was a single barrel Port Pipe 9yo.
