In the glass this rum is so dark it resembles espresso. The nose is very sweet has enough spice and sweet vanilla aroma it smells like a Christmas candle. The sweetness on the palate is immediate and lives up to the expectation of the nose. The main flavors are caramel and vanilla whole spices like clove and cinnamon join the sweetness but stay in the background. The finish starts with some pepper but turns bitter about halfway through and doesn’t leave any lasting impressions. If you like your drinks high proof and very sweet this is the rum for you.

Can taste the vanilla quite a bit, with some spices coming though later. Definitely on the sweeter side, but not what I think I would prefer in a “black spiced rum”. It does taste good though.
Smooth beginnings with a Very sweet ending note. High concentration of clove, cinnamon, and caramels. Sweeter than most Rums, Very capable as a Sipping Rum V.S. Shots.
Not as strong as other dark rums, propperly split between being a dark and a spiced
Lovely spice flavours coming through. Slightly sweet if drinking neat. Smooth.
One of my favorites, perfect balance sweet but not to much and richly spiced
