This tastes like crap and is what daring college kids here in Japan chug to get smashed.... (they call it the Black Nikka Challenge π ) it's about $7 for a 700ml bottle here in Japan and can be found in just about every store. I'd recommend saving your money and skipping this completely unless you want to try the Black Nikka Challenge....

Light nose. Reminds me of white wine. Floral, with a hint of wood. Given the light nose, the mouthfeel and finish are both strong and warm. Nothing very remarkable, but still interesting because the taste was not at all I was expecting after the nose.
I kept this on hand for the occasional sore throat. It was pretty bad, even with a tbsp of honey mixed it. Super sweet and thin. Still fond memories and all.
Fine with rocks. I consider myself a whisky snob but come on itβs not that bad.
Light and easy in my opinion. Perfectly sippable and enjoyable.
It tastes very bland.
