Blair Athol 21-Year-Old 1995 (cask 11788) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing) A rich, Sherried single malt from the Blair Athol distillery, independently bottled by Douglas Laing as part of the Old Particular range. This whisky was distilled in November 1995 & left to age in a Sherry butt for 21 years. Following this, it was bottled in June 2017 with a small outturn of 321 bottles. It has an aromatic birth with notes of ground cinnamon, cacao, fresh ginger & cherry; while a rich life adds notes of chocolate orange, honey-roasted nuts, pecan pie & Black Forest gâteau; that led to a long & rich death with more chocolate.
