Really sweet but the higher proof balances it off nicely so as not to be overwhelmingly sweet. Not to drink regularly but a nice diversion. Sort of an after dinner pour.
About this bottle
This limited edition expression begins with a straight bourbon (70% corn, 21% rye, 9% malted barley) aged three years minimum which was distilled in partnership with Bardstown Bourbon Co. in Kentucky and aged in Tennessee. It's finished in used whiskey barrels which were used to barrel-age honey. Bottled unfiltered at cask strength of 115.7 proof, just 1,800 bottles are available online and in select US markets beginning November 2024. (SRP $64.99)
