Wheaty and bitter on the nose. Sweet, oily, and rich, with a hint of bitterness. Surprisingly smooth for 100 proof. Nice mild fire in the mouth that continues down to the belly. Somewhat bitter aftertaste.
Curiously smells and tastes like a rye. Since it is a single malt perhaps its a rye malt. Its not bad but very strange.
Dark caramel fruity dark toasty oak char mineral.saline. Mineral and high acid. Spicy herbal.minty boozy.
Strong, clean wheat taste. Pleasant warmth
