This is a super-sweet bourbon. At 80% corn, of course, it's going to be. Rye makes up the other 20%, leaving a spicy after note. Bluegrass is six months away from their bourbon going straight. I'd be interested to see what it tastes like at that point, and then again as it ages further. It's enjoyable now, even as young as it is, and I think it's just going to get better!

This bourbon whiskey was produced in Lexington, Kentucky using locally-grown organic ingredients and distilled in a copper still from Portugal. The nose is full of corn, almost white dog, due to the young age. The taste, especially for the high proof, is exquisite and smooth. I'm placing a huge bet on this expression in 6 to 10 years being really popular and in high demand.
Very sweet. Enjoyed one of the first batch bottles. Potential.
