About this bottle
Family-owned Boann Distillery located in Co. Meath, Ireland released a trio of single pot still whiskeys in mid-2024. Each one was made with a mixed mash bill of Irish grown grains: malted barley, unmalted barley, oats, and rye. This release was initially matured for 3.5 years in American oak oloroso sherry hogsheads before finishing its maturation in Pedro Ximénez sherry butts, a portion of which were made from chestnut. Bottled at 47% ABV, availability in the US begins January 2025. (SRP $69)
