A complex, High Rye Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey by IJW Whiskey in Kentucky is aged for a minimum of 4 years in new charred American white oak barrels, that is then finished in toasted maple wood, before being bottled at 50% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grain, wood, dried fruits & spices; while a bold life adds notes of apple, rye, caramel, toffee & honey; that led to a warm & woody death of medium length with notes of oak, maple, vanilla & cinnamon.
