This is not your typical Bookers. Most Bookers I have had in the past are tobacco forward. This is not the case with this one. You get that spicy right away that mellows out into this caramel vanilla oak flavor. There is a lot going on in this batch and I will say I imagine my next couple of pours will include more notes. But if you don’t have this batch or have been turned off by Bookers this batch is a must.

Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medium amber. Nose: Maple syrup, vanilla, and some dark fruit notes. Palate: Cinnamon, baking spice, oak tannins. Finish: Long length with lots of heat. Splash: More oak and spice on rhe tip of the tongue. Overall: 9.5/10 - The flavors and finish on this are amazing. Even as Booker's goes, this is a banger.

Sweetness on the front and hot on the back end but disapates quickly for a really nice finish. Agree that this is a different flavor profile from a lot of the other Bookers releases. Drinks well under it’s proof and opens up witn just a few drops of water.

Can’t go wrong with and Bookers. This one is pretty hot on the nose and palate. Don’t get me wrong, its good, but the heat takes away some of the flavors that are trying to come through. Maybe toss it on a cube

Oak, chocolate, dark berry. Great flavors here.

Smooth, good proof, easy going down the hatch.
