The reviews on this scared me, but this is really good... I don't like long spicy finishes, but I wouldn't say this is that. I've never gotten when people say leather as a smell or taste, but now I do. This smells just like the seats in a brand new car, and has a sweet taste with a slightly toasty finish. It lingers but it's not overwhelming. Good pour!!
Vanilla orange and cinnamon nose with a little oak. Taste is a stronger oak with a nice sweet orange balance and some spice from the proof. Great full bourbon flavor. This is how it should taste...
Nose: Leather, Oak Palate: Rich Toffee, Smoke, Sweet Oak, Spice Finish: Smooth for such a high proof, hints of oak and Vanilla
Nose: Butterscotch, Caramel, Vanilla Pallet: Sweet, Clove, Spice Finish: Long, peppery, smooth
Decent flavor with some burn. Too much money for mediocre bourbon.
