Boulder Spirits American Single Malt Sherry Cask Finish

I’m an agent and tried this at an industry tasting event. My favourite of the line up. The agent worded it well saying it “was a bourbon for Scotch drinkers”. Sweetness and flavours of bourbon married with the dryness and tannins of the oak giving it a scotch like finish. Will definitely be buying a bottle. This is not a line I rep.

Fairly straightforward whiskey with a touch more character than the regular Boulder, which is an affordable go to bourbon in my closet. This one hints at sherry but doesn’t hit you in the face with it, so temper your expectations if that’s your thing. Overall enjoyed however unsure it’s with the $10 premium over the standard bottle
