Boulder Spirits Bottled in Bond Bourbon

Ok, so this one was surprising. The very first note on the nose i got was bubblegum, like old school Big Chew bubblegum. The nose then opened up to classic vanilla and butterscotch notes, but with a bit of an edge to them. The palate started off with some fruit, maybe apples, but gave way to some sharp spice that carried through the finish. Need some more time with this one before I can say if this would be a repeat buy or not, but is solid enough to give a try.

Smooth nose with hints of caramel. Great neat! Linger, burn, and smoothness is really good. Light black pepper, oak, char are clear. I usually like to add ice but it’s not needed. Ice dulls the taste. This is a good bourbon and definitely worth the pick up.

Raisin wood smoke leather smell … scotch like peat some cherry to taste … cherry finish … nice bourbon … a little pricy …
