Color: Honey to Amber Nose: Light, some vanilla, hints of spruce pine tree needles. A very small trace of sandalwood which is a nice surprise. Palate: smooth beginning, with a clove and cinnamon blast on the mid palate. Also just a touch of a ripe tart green apple. Finish: spice fades relatively quickly but ends with a nice apple cobbler à la mode with a strong vanilla gelato which makes me rate the much higher than I initially thought I would!

A rich, single barrel, of Kentucky Straight Bourbon from the Bower Hill range. It has an aromatic birth with notes of Cedar spice, chocolate mousse, buttered corn & dry earth; while a rich life adds notes of red plum, more chocolate, barrel char, clove & green apple; that led to a long & intense death with notes of Blackberry bush & butterscotch. Saw this on shelf for $75, didn't know anything about it but wanted to try. Even had a security lock on it. It came in a beautiful bottle, had a great smell (vanilla), but the taste was not to pleasant. Seems watered down and leaves an oily feel in your mouth. Very odd. May drink this just to get drunk or cook with it. Never again.

A little young, a little raw; it has a couple fangs poking out in the scent and the taste. But still, the beginnings of a dignified end are present here - happy to drink it above a few others at the moment. I'd throw it back in the barrel a couple years and salivate awaiting what might emerge when it wears down those few teeth.

Tastes like whiskey... let’s call it balanced? My taste buds must be off it just has no real character notes to pick out. Just a hot alcohol finish at the moment. Have to see if it’s different another day.

Light color Aroma was of a bit of Spice but of dry saw dust. Hints of citrus fruit and fain vanilla. Taste was Dry Oak, a little spice on the palette, Dry on the finish with very faint after burn.
