About this bottle
Released December 2017, this 50 year old bottling marks the third release in Bowmore's Vault Legends Collection. The whisky was filled in 1966, a special year for Bowmore as it was the first official year that Bowmore bottled a single malt. It was also the first year their Distillery Manager Eddie MacAffer joined the distillery. This is a single cask release which aged in an ex-bourbon hogshead cask. Only 70 bottles were produced. Bottled at 41.5% ABV. This whisky is presented in a handmade crystal decanter and handcrafted cabinet made of Scottish oak.
