No Corners to Hide is a travel exclusive series based on a myth about a church with no corners built by the people on Islay in 1767 — rounded walls were believed to keep the devil out. Yet that sneaky devil showed up at church anyway, and was naturally chased out into Bowmore distillery, where he presumably hid inside a whisky cask. The 32-year-old spent 30 years in ex-bourbon American oak hogsheads, with two years of further maturation in Essencia barriques. It is bottled at 47.3% ABV, with 666 bottles available exclusively at travel retail as of October, 2021.
