Bowsaw Small Batch is a nice, but slightly too sweet corn whiskey, I am surprised about the small amount of reviews of this fairly good bourbon. Nose is a bit off, definately a lot of sweet tones of vanilla, toffee, cotton candy, clotted cream, but also a whiff of... let's say beef jerky or something. Odd. Nice, caramelly flavour, rich, thick, hints of fresh apples and kiwifruit, toffee again, a bit like the famous Ikea DAIM candybars. Slight kick, good and solid burn, sugary aftertaste with a hint of liquorice root. Nice. I like them more without a strong burn, this one you feel with every sip. It's good, well layered, definately not a budget bottle, but no gamechanger either.
