About this bottle
Bozal Guías de Calabaza is a vegetarian Sacrificio mezcal made with 100% espadín agave. Rather than use chicken or other meat, Bozal here uses ingredients such as pumpkin stems, plantains, seasonal fruits and grains, and chepiche, a perennial herb used in Mexican cooking. The components are suspended inside the still during the second and final distillation. The mezcal comes from Río de Ejutla in Oaxaca and is bottled at 94 proof.
