About this bottle
Produced by Master Mezcalero Hectór Obregón in Mazatlán, Pelotón De la Muerte Criollo is a joven mezcal made with 100% Criollo, a wild agave native to the Guerrero region. Production processes include open air fermentation for five days, and double distillation with a "Filipino" still with a wood hat. Pelotón de la Muerte means “squadron of death” and the label depicts the flag used by insurgents during the Mexican Revolution.
