An intense 27-year-old Braes o' Glenlivet from That Boutique-y Whisky Company... Batch 1 features a graphic-novel-style illustration of Master of Malt's triumvirate: Ben, Tom and Justin, driving up to visit Scotland's many whisky distilleries in a car laden with Evian (Justin's very lifeblood). The inspiration for the label was the fact that it was Braes o' Glenlivet that drew the trio into the wonderful world of whisky in the first place. This is batch 1 - a release of 210 numbered bottles. It has an aromatic birth with notes of Brandy butter, vanilla, hints of tropical fruit, manuka honey & soft spices. while a rich & spicy life adds notes of cinnamon, orange blossom honey, a hint of Parma violets, lemon curd, tarte tatin & creamy vanilla custard; that led to a long & rich death with notes of salted butter & allspice.
