Broken Barrel Cask Strength Bourbon (116 Proof)

A little harsh on the nose. It’s spicy, to be sure. Nothing really notable on the palette, with distasteful raw oak on the finish. It’s redeeming quality is that it’s not harsh going down and doesn’t linger like cheap whiskey.

Nose: honey, vanilla, ethanol Palette: oak, tobacco, honey Finish: warm Kentucky hug, tannic

Strong oak notes. High proof but delicious.
