This is from the Winship Company and a Buffalo Trace product. The main reason for me to try it was due to this. After some digging, this comes from the Barton 1792 Distillery. The nose has some sweet cherry and brown sugar. The palate stays a little sweet with vanilla and cherry towards the end. The finish is less impactful and doesn’t last long. I tried this as an old fashioned also and it wasn’t one I’d go back to. I was glad to try it but would be excited to try it again neat or as an old fashioned.

Soft nose... vanilla is dominant. Sweet. Some oak. Enough oil to coat your lips. About what I expect from a quality $30 bottle. Good sipper. Good flavor. Not very complex and a pretty short finish. But if on a budget, this would be in my collection. Had it side by side with HH BIB and ET BIB, and went back for seconds on BS BIB.
Great rich flavor, definitely sweet. Fairly standard bourbon profile, but just a nice balance and punch of flavor. Heat hits as expected with no surprises. Very pleased for the price. I also bought the single barrel expression (broken fence) I want to try side by side.
I actually really liked this bourbon, there’s a good amount of cherry sweetness, caramel and oakiness. The finish is a bit long hot and has a little bit of spice but with some water it opens up with more vanilla and brown sugar.
Full flavored and sweet but a bitter finsh. Likely won't buy again.
Light, like super light, not much to it, very simple sipper
