About this bottle
This Brora 40 Year limited edition bottling celebrates the 200th anniversary of its founding in 1819. The bottling is comprised of single malt matured in 12 American oak hogsheads that was distilled in 1978. Brora used heavily-peated Northern Highland barley in its production from 1969 until it closed its doors in 1983. Only 1819 bottles produced to honor the year of its opening. Available as of August 2019, a year ahead of the distillery's expected reopening.
