About this bottle

Brother's Bond, a whiskey brand founded by American actors Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley, has introduced their first rye expression with this release. Distilled and aged at Indiana, this whiskey is made from a blend of bourbon and rye whiskeys which used four grains in its production -- 77% rye, 16% corn, along with wheat and malted barley. Bottled at 47.5% ABV, it's available as of May 2023 nationwide online and at selected retailers. (SRP $59.99)

NOSE 3.25 Fresh dill weed is instantly jumping out of the glass, lemon head candies, simple syrup, liquorice and cherry round the nose out. PALETTE 2.5 baking spice and black pepper on the front of the tounge. The dill note translates through on the palette. FINISH 2.75 Medium, slightly drying. Slight Oak shows up on the finish accompanied by a lingering pepper and clove and fades away to a nice dark fruit and vanilla. VALUE 4 A 4 grain wheated american blended rye whiskey sourced from mgp for sub 50. Such an interesting pour, cant wait to see what else they cook up next.

Sweet but not too sweet, spicy but not too spicy, very smooth and drinkable. A favorite, can run with the big dogs. Highly recommended
